Electric vehicle igbt module applications
IGBT plays a crucial role in new energy electric vehicles, being one of the core technologies. It is the key device for energy conversion and transmission, facilitating the conversion between alternating current (AC) and direct current (DC). The IGBT converts the DC from the battery pack into the ac needed by the electric motor, while also controlling the frequency of the AC motor, which helps to regulate the motor speed. Additionally, it can convert AC back into DC, serving the purpose of charging the battery pack.
